Jump On Languages is seeking talented Spanish and Japanese teachers to lead programs for children from 3 to 12 years old. We are looking to fill several part-time positions. Please note that for our in-person programs in Seattle, candidates must have work authorization for the United States.

JOL Spanish Afterschool Program. The schedule generally runs from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.

General Job Description for All Positions​
Jump On Languages is seeking a talented Lead Spanish Teacher to join our team. We prioritize our employees because we believe teachers are vital to a child's well-being and education. We offer various programs where you can make a meaningful impact, including Spanish afterschool programs (K-5), preschool teaching (ages 3-5), and individual or small group tutoring sessions.
Our teachers are passionate about making language learning enjoyable through hands-on activities, songs, games, outdoor fun, STEAM programs, and cultural connections. Your role will be essential in providing a safe and engaging environment for children to learn Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and share curriculum materials with fellow teachers.

Plan and implement age-appropriate activities, games, songs, and lessons.

Ensure a safe, caring, and fun atmosphere for children.

Maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Communicate with parents to address questions.

Prepare progress reports for families.
-
Assist with transporting children from their schools to the Phinney Center.

Be willing to tutor or lead small group Playtime sessions.

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field (preferred).

At least 5 years of experience with children.

Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.

First Aid and CPR certifications (preferred).
-
Ability to pass state and company background checks.

Eligible to work in the U.S.
-
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
-
Reliable transportation (a WA State driver’s license is required; we will provide a vehicle if needed).
